Allergy Skin Tests

Skin Prick Tests are performed to detect allergens that cause allergic diseases. These tests are intended to determine what causes the allergy. Skin tests can be performed at any age, including newborn babies.

Nutrient Loading Test

A loading test for foods such as cow's milk and eggs can be performed when necessary to diagnose food allergy.

Medication Allergy Tests

Allergy tests and provocation tests can be performed for medications such as antibiotics such as penicillin, cephalosporin, and local anesthetics.

Desensitisation

For a child with medication allergy, desensitisation can be performed so that the child can use the medication that they are allergic to.

Patch Tests

These are tests performed to diagnose post-contact allergic diseases and food allergies that develop differently from Type 1 allergic reactions.


 

Blood Allergy (Food and Inhalant) Tests

Allergen-specific IgE evaluation in the blood is performed in the clinic with the most sensitive, advanced and reliable method.

Asthma Control Test

When diagnosing asthma, the level of nitric oxide in the child's breath is checked to see whether it is under control. This test is performed on the computer with animation programs so that children can easily do it.

Respiratory Function Tests

Respiratory function tests are performed on children aged 6 years and older. This test is very important for the diagnosis of asthma and other pulmonary diseases.

In the clinic, control respiratory function tests are also performed during the follow-up of patients diagnosed with asthma to determine whether they are benefiting from medication treatment and whether the disease is under control.

Sweat Test

A sweat test is a test to show whether the patient has cystic fibrosis disease. This test should absolutely be performed for the early diagnosis and treatment of this congenital disease.

Immunotherapy (Allergen Vaccine Treatment)

With allergen immunotherapy, gaining resistance to allergens and healing underlying asthma and allergic rhinitis are achieved. It is applied both subcutaneously (under the skin injection) and sublingually (under the tongue vaccination) in the clinic.

Nuclear Medicine (VR Scintigraphy, etc.):

For cases resistant to treatment, reflux scintigraphy may be required. In the clinic, a reflux scintigraphy is performed.

Radiology (Tomography, CT Angiography, MRI, etc.)

The radiology department is of great importance in the differential diagnosis of asthma and allergic diseases. It is very beneficial to have devices equipped with the highest technology in our department and to have physicians who are very experienced in interpreting imagings.
