Stem Cell Therapy for Hair Loss

What is Stem Cell Treatment for Hair Loss?
“Successful results are obtained with the cellular treatment method in hair loss, which is quite common in society. A tissue sample the size of a lentil is taken from the scalp obtained from the nape area and the person's own cells are produced in a laboratory with very special conditions and injected under the skin to the hairless areas. In this way, dormant and non-hair-producing hair follicles can be awakened and the formation of strong, thick, dark hair and the growth of new hair follicles can be ensured.”
Current studies show that the regenerative and repairing properties of stem cells are an important and effective source that can be used for treatment purposes in the field of medicine. It also provides very effective results in problems called male-pattern hair loss, which is very common in women as well as men in our country for various reasons (such as early menopause, postpartum).
Does Stem Cell Treatment Cause Hair Growth?
If hair loss is not caused by a genetic or autoimmune problem, dormant hair follicles can be reactivated with growth factors and anti-inflammatory cytokines secreted from stem cells. Hair loss can be largely stopped and previously lost hair can be regrowth with cells obtained from the person through scalp biopsy.

How is Hair Stem Cell Treatment Performed?
In applications performed on men and women, a lentil-sized tissue sample is taken from the scalp obtained from the patient's nape area. The biopsy piece is brought to our laboratory, which has a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate and is approved by the Ministry of Health under appropriate transfer conditions. After the production process, which takes about 4-6 weeks, is completed, the cells are applied to the patient at 1-month intervals and in 2 applications (50 million).
