Rhythm Disorder
What is Rhythm Disorder?
Arrhythmia refers to a condition that affects the heart's ability to beat regularly and in a coordinated manner. Normally, heartbeats occur in a certain order, but in case of arrhythmia this pattern may be disrupted. The heart rate may become irregular, too fast, or too slow. Rhythm disorders occur as a result of irregular conduction of electrical signals in certain areas of the heart, such as the atria (atria) or ventricles (ventricles). These conditions can prevent coordinated contraction of the heart muscles and disrupt normal blood pumping function.
Rhythm Disorder Treatment at Liv Hospital
At Liv Hospital Arrhythmia Clinic; Diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders are planned. For the diagnosis of arrhythmia, ECG recording is required at the time of the arrhythmia. Rhythm Holter (event recording devices) are used for this purpose. The tilt table test, which is used to investigate the cause of fainting, is also performed in the Arrhythmia Clinic. Pacemaker patients are also monitored and battery checks are performed.
