EOS 3D Skeletal System Imaging

It is an X-ray device that can visualise the entire spine and lower extremities in front, back and side at the same time. It is used in spinal curvatures such as scoliosis and kyphosis and angular disorders of the lower extremities.
It is used in spinal curvatures such as scoliosis and kyphosis and angular disorders of the lower extremities. It takes approximately 20 seconds. After the patient is taken into the device, shooting is performed by ensuring that the patient stays in the specified area and alignment. Depending on the situation, the whole body or spine is taken.
How is EOS (3D Skeletal System Imaging) Applied?
The radiation rate is much lower than standard digital x-ray devices. Thanks to the micro dose feature used in paediatric patients, the radiation dose is reduced approximately 10 times less than the standard EOS dose. It is used for planning and measurement purposes before lower extremity operations since it can capture the entire bone length. By making 3D modelling, it helps pre-operative planning in knee, hip and scoliosis patients.
