Depression in Teens

Adolescence is the most risky period for depression. Trying to cope with school problems, the teenager is busy trying to become independent and form his/her identity, while building his/her future. Conflicts with parents may occur during this period. Parents should distinguish whether the problems are due to the characteristics of adolescence or the child's depression.

What kind of symptoms might there be?

  • Irritability

  • Fall in course success
  • Don't think you are unloved
